We get so caught up in work, school and life that we forget about something important…we forget about taking care of ourselves. Self-care is so important. With the stress of balancing what life throws at you, you can forget what it feels like to take time for yourself.
College is truly some of the best four (or more) years of your life. You are told that before college, while you are in college, and you STILL think it after you graduate. The ‘FOMO’ is very real after graduation – I definitely feel it a little bit every day
What you choose to do with your time in college is important but not only is it about what you do…it is about the people. The people make your college experience. The people are your experience.
Post-grad life is always something every graduate has to figure out. Whether it be searching for a job or working a job, you have to find new ways to keep yourself busy. College always gave you the opportunity to go to events or to do things without having to actually plan them. Setting new goals is key.
Dear Incoming Freshmen of the University of Nevada, Reno (and everywhere else tbh),
You have probably heard this over and over, but college will be the best years of your life. You will make new friends; you will fall in love with your major; you will have the time of your life.
I can’t begin to tell you the memories I’ve made. Every experience and everything I have done has led me up to this moment, to the day I graduate. When I walk the stage in Spring 2017, I know I’ll look back and not regret a single thing I did in my four years.
